Yield: 4-8 squares

Ingredients

75ml Corn syrup
30ml Butter/margarine
10g Cocoa
125ml White sugar
40g Puffed wheat

Directions

  1. Spray the bottom and sides of a loaf pan and set aside.
  2. Mise en place and set aside. Remember to spray measuring cup with grease before measuring syrup.
  3. In an uncovered small saucepan combine corn syrup, margarine, cocoa, and sugar on medium temperature.
  4. Boil for 2 minutes (use a timer) stir while boiling.
  5. Remove from heat and immediately add puffed wheat to the saucepan, stir until puffed wheat is well covered.
  6. Press into a greased dish and let cool on counter for 5 minutes
  7. Remove from the loaf pan, put on a cutting board and cut into squares or bars.
