Yield: 4-8 squares
Ingredients
75ml Corn syrup
30ml Butter/margarine
10g Cocoa
125ml White sugar
40g Puffed wheat
Directions
- Spray the bottom and sides of a loaf pan and set aside.
- Mise en place and set aside. Remember to spray measuring cup with grease before measuring syrup.
- In an uncovered small saucepan combine corn syrup, margarine, cocoa, and sugar on medium temperature.
- Boil for 2 minutes (use a timer) stir while boiling.
- Remove from heat and immediately add puffed wheat to the saucepan, stir until puffed wheat is well covered.
- Press into a greased dish and let cool on counter for 5 minutes
- Remove from the loaf pan, put on a cutting board and cut into squares or bars.
