Marinated Lamb

Entree Lamb

I love marinated lamb but sometimes the cuts you can get are too big for a pan so you just need to use your grill.

Marinade Ingredients

1/4 cup Olive oil
1/4 cup Lemon juice
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
10-15 large leaves fresh minced mint
1-2 stalks fresh minced rosemary
3-5 cloves garlic minced

Marinade Directions

  1. Whisk together olive oil, lemon, mustard, honey and worchestershire and drizzle over lamb
  2. Rub or press the minced herbs and garlic into the lamb
  3. Marinate for minimum of 1 hour

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Sear lamb for approximately 10-15 minutes per side. If you do not have a frying pan large enough use the barbecue as I did.

  1. Roast uncovered for 20 minutes per pound or until a thermometer reaches 66C/150F for rare or 70C/160F for medium

  1. Tent with foil for 10 minutes before carving
