The smell of homemade bread always makes my mouth water. This bread is easy to make and is perfect for breakfast toast, sandwiches or a dinner bun.
Ingredients
1 Cup water
1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup oats
2 1/3 flour(I use 1 cup white & 1 1/3 cup multigrain)
1 tsp yeast
Directions
- Place all ingredients in the bread machine in the order above
- Select dough setting
- When dough is done preheat oven to 350 degrees
Loaf
- Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray
- Knead dough and shape into loaf, place dough in loaf pan and
- Sprinkle with flour and let rise for 30 minutes with a damp cloth over top

Place in oven for 35 minutes
Buns
8.Divide dough in 16 balls. Use fingers to make each portion into a smooth ball. Place on a cookie sheet with parchment paper and allow them to rise until almost
double.
- Use a wooden skewer to gently press down in the middle of each roll. Dipping your skewer in flour makes it easier.
- Whisk eggs and water together for glaze and gently coat rolls. Sprinkle a few quick oats on top of each roll before the glaze dries.
- Bake at 350 for 10-13 minutes. Allow to cool on a rack for a few minutes or eat as soon as they are cool enough to eat.
