Everyone I know loves a good pizza. This is seriously the easiest dough I've come across. I've used a scale to get the most accurate measurements but don't let that stop you from making your house smell of wonderful cheesy goodness.

Yield: 2 large pizza

Ingredients

375g (3 cups) flour - plus more for rolling out 12g (2 tsp) dry active yeast
375 mL (1 1/2 cups) lukewarm water
1 Tbsp sugar 15 mL (1 Tbsp) oil (olive & canola both work) 5g (1 tsp) seat salt
1/2 egg - Optional

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast, sugar water and let stand for 5 minutes
  2. Meanwhile mix the remaining ingredients in your stand mixer with the dough hook
  3. Add the yeast water mixture slowly to the stand mixer bowl
  4. Mix the dough with the dough hook for 10-15 minutes to develop the gluten and make the dough pliable enough to work with.
  5. Allow to proof (rise in a warm place) for approx. 1 hour
